Jack Antoine Charlot

Jack loves creating iconic characters with strong identities. It’s what he enjoys most in his directing and staging: modeling and bringing to life, almost out of nowhere, the most improbable of life stories.

Whatever the graphic style – cartoon, realistic, or the media used – 2D or 3D, or live action, as long as the emotion is right. Jack manages to stir up powerful feelings in the viewers, whether they burst out laughing because of a gag, or feel empathy from a character’s eyes, or a hypnotic fascination thanks to a supernatural choreography.

His first love for cartoons enabled him to make his mark across generations with his video clip for Lollipop by Mika. He then worked around the theme of dreams, memories, and fantasy with his award-winning clips for Stuck in the Sound, Tahiti Boy, and the animated chapters in the Netflix documentary on Big Flo & Oli.
His impressive technical and artistic experience garnered ten Vimeo Staff Picks and many other selections and awards such as the Club des D.A. (the Artistic Directors’ Club), the UK VMA’s, the Berlin Film Festival, etc.

His sharp sense of movement, rhythm and editing led him to work and create with Dan Levy (The Do), choreographer Nicolas Huchard (Christine and the Queens, Madonna), and virtual artist S.C.A.R.R., creating a trilogy of fascinating clips all of which met with great success.
