Robin Shaw


Robin Shaw is an award-winning animation director and illustrator renowned for his hand-drawn adaptations of classic children’s books. Characterised by meticulous and expressive detail, his animations blend traditional hand-drawn artistry with subtle digital enhancements to create a uniquely timeless visual style.

His notable works include “Mog’s Christmas” (2023) and “The Tiger Who Came To Tea” (2019), both based on Judith Kerr’s books and critically acclaimed. Shaw directed “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” (2016) and worked closely with Raymond Briggs on projects like “The Snowman and The Snowdog” and “Ethel & Ernest.”
