Quentin Rigaux

Bio

Quentin Rigaux is a French animation director and designer known for his dynamic 2D animation and distinctive visual style. A graduate of Gobelins (CRFA 2021), he first gained attention with Golden Hour, a student short praised for its retro-futuristic aesthetic.

He directed the Yojimbot’s trailer, an action-adventure series produced by Passion Paris, where he helped define the show’s unique visual identity and fluid, anime-inspired animation. His work was central to Yojimbot’s standout energy and its rare use of high-quality hand-drawn action in French animation.

He has worked as art director on music videos for prestigious artists such as Dua Lipa and Breakbot, contributed to the storyboarding of numerous ambitious animation projects — from video game trailers to American feature films — all while developing personal projects like the short film Cosmo Princess. Throughout his work runs a common thread: crafting bold visuals in service of powerful storytelling.
