Axel Digoix

Bio

Axel Digoix graduated from the famous George Méliès School and soon after began to work as an animator in the feature-film industry (Despicable Me, The Little Prince). He also worked for varied projects such as the video game trailer for ‘LastFight’, a charity campaign for Global Fund, and music videos for bands like Charles X and Jabberwocky. Later, he made his directorial debut with video clips like ’Ténéré Tàqqàl’ and ’Nànnuflày’ for the Blues band Tinariwen. Most recently he directed a short-film for Finalmouse, “Valley Of The Air”, featuring the American streamer Ninja.

Axel is always looking for ways to push the limits of his art and loves to juggle between 2D and 3D animation. Doing so, he directed 4 VR projects for Google that were exhibited in the Arts Décoratifs of Paris, the Costume Institute of Kyoto, the Ferragamo Museum of Florence, and the V&A Museum of London.

He recently spent a few months in Japan, working on a personal project at the Tenjinyama Sapporo Art Studio.
