Passion Pictures has produced a series of animated spots “Toxic Therapy” with Creative Director Andy Martin and Director Matt Partridge, for Truth Initiative’s truth campaign with agency Mojo Supermarket. Truth Initiative is a national public health organization dedicated to achieving a culture where all young people reject smoking, vaping and nicotine and a future where tobacco and nicotine addiction are a thing of the past.
The important message is brought to life in 2D animation, in the familiar aesthetic of adult animation spiked with a serious issue. The spots quickly communicate that vaping and nicotine is harmful and your vape is a toxic friend cos-playing as a therapist.
