This film was one of a series of collaborations between Tom and FiveThirtyEight (ESPN), and an exploration of gender disparity in politics released a few months before the 2016 US elections. Tom worked closely with FiveThirtyEight to develop the script and visuals concurrently, ensuring the crucial statistics could be communicated in an approachable and engaging way. Starting from an open brief, the result is a minimalist moving collage, integrating photography, 2D and 3D elements.
