Axel Digoix studied CG animation in Paris at the famous George Méliès School, where he developed his passion for directing. After his graduation he began to work as animator in the feature-film industry (Despicable Me, The Little Prince) and for a multitude of projects such as the video-game trailer of 'LastFight', a charity campaign for Global Fund and music video for bands Charles X and Jabberwocky. Afterwards, he steps as director with video clips ’Ténéré Tàqqàl’ and ’Nànnuflày’ for the blues band Tinariwen.
Axel always seeks to shove limits of his art and never stops juggling between 2D and 3D animation. In that way, he directed 4 VR projects for Google that were exhibited in the Arts Décoratifs of Paris, the Costume Institut of Kyoto, the Ferragamo Museum of Florence and the V&A Museum of London.
He recently spent a few months in Japan, working on a personal project at the Tenjinyama Sapporo Art Studio.
