During Milan Fashion Week 2015, a pop-up show space entitled IKEA Temporary was created by PJADAD to question the way we interact with our own domestic space. IKEA Temporary explores life in and around the kitchen and looks at the real importance of what is useful within this space. PJADAD worked very closely with IKEA to create an area that felt very ephemeral with raw structures and honest materials.
As the pop-up has evolved, IKEA Temporary also hosted a series of events that welcomed fashion to the interior design forum. Fellow Scandinavian, Martin Bergström and London-based designer, Katie Eary both showcased their latest collections alongside a preview of their collaborations with IKEA to launch in 2016.
